The expected outcome of the TA is the GoN's infrastructure development programs, policies and projects incorporate safeguards to address the effects of climate change. The project has three outputs: • Output 1: Climate change risks are integrated into Nepal's implementation of development projects. The aim of this Output is to integrate climate change risk management into a physical implementation of development projects, with a focus on infrastructure and urban and rural service provision (especially water supplies and sanitation, roads, irrigation). • Output 2: Knowledge management tools are developed and applied. The aim of this output is to strengthen Nepal’s system for generating, managing, and sharing knowledge as an input to make the country climate resilient. • Output 3: Outputs from the SPCR and other adaptation programs are managed for results and lessons learned are incorporated into Nepal's climate change program.
