Gender Perspective: Integrating Energy Resource Use into Climate Change Adaptation

The study is an attempt to establish a relation between climate change and prevalent energy resource in the study site as well as it studies the consequent adoption strategies within the community taking special note of the gender perspective. The study has been carried out in the Siddhi village of Chitwan District of Nepal where people are mostly dependent on the traditional biomass for the energy requirement and the roles and responsibilities regarding energy resource management are different genderwise.
