Oxfam International is a confederation of 14 affiliated non-political, non-sectarian, non-governmental, non-profit making, development and humanitarian organisations. In Nepal Oxfam is represented by Oxfam GB with Head Quarters in Oxford, United Kingdom (UK registered charity NO. 202918).

Oxfam’s mission is to work with others to overcome poverty and suffering.

In Nepal, Oxfam works in selected hill districts in the Mid and Far Western Development Regions on livelihoods/food security and water and sanitation. In the Central and Eastern Terai Oxfam’s work focuses on Disaster Risk Reduction. Key cross-cutting themes are social and economic empowerment of women, climate change and advocacy.
