RRN is undertaking various activities related to climate change, mainly i) raising awareness on the impacts of global warming and climate change, and the possible ways to reduce the impacts, ii) implementing community based livelihoods support programmes for reducing vulnerability and improving adaptive capacity of the people through improved livelihoods opportunities, iii) introducing rainwater harvesting technology in the communities for drinking water and irrigation purpose, iv) introducing peltric sets, micro hydro and household photo voltaic/solar sets as a means of clean energy, v) promoting social/community forestry, vi) promoting organic agriculture and integrated pest management techniques, viii) lobbying and campaigning for improvement/revision in the climate negotiation politics/policy at all levels (national and international, viii), research, documentation and dissemination.
